TAKE YOUR CAMERA TO THE DUMP!

Being Creative

A few Sundays ago I took some odds and ends down to the dump. Afterwards decided to take out the camera and see what there was to shoot.
The first thing was the wind turbine next door, I got quite a nice shot with a car and pedestrian in to give some sense of scale. This turbine is 126 m high and quite impressive.

Being Creative

Being creative is a very satisfying past time, and I often tell folk that almost anything can be tackled creatively.
Cooking is certainly one of the things that when approached creatively can make a meal look and taste a lot nicer and can be a more fun preparing it especially if there are others to feed.

Being Creative

My first experience of life drawing was at 28 in art school, since then painting people has been my favourite subject. I think it is the most challenging subject outside of painting horses as the owners seem to know every muscle and spot on their animal and can be just as offended by the stance or expression of their horse as a person having their portrait...

Starting a new year is always inspiring for me, for a start the first of January is like a birthday, it is one of those days I really feel I do not have to do anything if I so choose. and it is a day I can relax and let my creative ideas take their place in the year ahead.
